Part 1
Bellator 290 was an unforgettable night of MMA action. The main event was a lightweight bout between Brennan Ward and Sabah Homasi. After a hard-fought battle, Ward emerged victorious with a second-round TKO.

Piccolotti was able to control the fight with his superior striking, and was able to land some big shots. Honeycutt did his best to keep up, but was unable to keep up with Piccolotti's pace. Piccolotti was able to outstrike Honeycutt for the entire fight, and was able to win a unanimous decision.
The fight was a back-and-forth affair, with both fighters giving it their all. Honeycutt was able to stay in the fight for the entire three rounds, but was eventually outmatched by Piccolotti's striking.
Part 3
The rest of the card was filled with some exciting matchups. In the featherweight division, Goiti Yamauchi was able to take advantage of his superior grappling to win a unanimous decision over Brandon Girtz.
In the middleweight division, John Salter was able to take advantage of his superior grappling to submit Chris Honeycutt in the first round. Salter was able to take Honeycutt down early in the fight and quickly transition to a rear-naked choke. Honeycutt was unable to escape and was forced to tap out.
In the welterweight division, Kyle Crutchmer was able to take advantage of his superior striking to win a unanimous decision over Carlos Pereira. Crutchmer was able to control the fight with his superior striking, and was able to outstrike Pereira for the entire three rounds.
Overall, Bellator 290 was a great night of MMA action and there were some exciting fights. Ward and Piccolotti were able to emerge victorious in their respective fights, and the rest of the card was filled with some thrilling matchups.
